Dr. Wansky is board certified by the American College of Veterinary Preventive Medicine. In addition to his DVM degree from The Ohio State University, he earned his Masters in Public Health (MPH) at University of Michigan. He served as a military veterinarian and environmental health officer in the United States Air Force. After retiring from the Air Force, he directed a district epidemiology program for the Virginia Department of Health.
In 2000, Dr. Wansky and his wife, Monique, founded Pets' Affordable Wellness Services (PAWS Clinic) to provide high quality, low cost preventive care (vaccination, heartworm and parasite control) to the pets of Tidewater Virginia.
Monique Wansky is the PAWS Clinic Director. She is a dedicated pet lover and advocate. Monique and our clinic team ensure that each pet gets the best preventive care at the most affordable price. Her goal is to make your visit an enjoyable experience for you and your pet.
